Floors Built to Last.
Island homes need flooring that handles foot traffic, humidity shifts, and real life. We install hardwood and LVP/LVT — properly prepared from the subfloor up. No sheet vinyl. No shortcuts.
Engineered & Solid Hardwood
Hardwood adds lasting warmth and value to a home. We install both solid and engineered hardwood — properly acclimated, correctly fastened, and finished to protect against the moisture variability common in BC homes. Whether it's a full floor replacement or a single room, the subfloor is assessed and prepared before the first plank goes down.
- Solid hardwood installation
- Engineered hardwood installation
- Subfloor assessment and preparation
- Acclimation and moisture management
- Transitions, thresholds, and stair nosings
- Sanding and finishing coordination (site-finished where applicable)
Luxury Vinyl Plank & Tile
LVP and LVT are durable, practical choices for BC coastal and valley homes — waterproof, dimensionally stable, and well-suited to the humidity fluctuations common in the region. Every installation starts with proper subfloor prep. We do not install sheet vinyl.
- LVP (luxury vinyl plank) installation
- LVT (luxury vinyl tile) installation
- Subfloor levelling and prep
- Transitions, thresholds, and trim
- Multi-room and whole-home installs
- Bathroom and wet-area appropriate products

How a Flooring Project Works
From first call to final walkthrough — no ambiguity at any stage.
We assess the subfloor, measure the space, document conditions, and identify any prep work required.
We walk through product options suited to the space — species, profile, finish, and format.
Subfloor prep first, then a clean and properly sequenced installation.
We review the completed work, confirm transitions and trim are complete, and the site is clean.
Flooring FAQ
Do you install sheet vinyl?
No. We install LVP, LVT, and hardwood. Sheet vinyl is not a service we offer.
What subfloor prep do you do?
We assess levelness, moisture, and fastener condition. Any required patching, levelling, or fastener work is scoped before installation begins — it's not discovered mid-project.
Can you install flooring in one room or does it have to be the whole house?
Either. Single rooms, partial floors, and whole-home installs are all in scope.
Do you add a ferry charge for island projects?
No. Ferry travel is part of how we operate, not an add-on to your estimate.
We work where other contractors won't quote.
Salt Spring Island is our primary base. We serve the Southern Gulf Islands, Cowichan Valley, and South Nanaimo — we've built the logistics to reach your property without padding your bill.
Ready to talk about your floors?
We'll visit the space, assess the subfloor, walk through product options, and provide a clear written estimate.
